From the registration to the event and the B2Match tool, there will be regular e-mail updates explaining what you need to do next. Please see below our tips.
1. Set up a profile
Create a strong profile which will raise your visibility to others on this platform. Make it clear and concise. Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer potential partners and who you want to meet. A good profile will significantly generate more meetings. Don't forget your profile will be live and visible even after the event.
2. Request meetings
Be active not reactive. Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet at the event. Adding a meaningful remark why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted. Accepted meeting requests will be scheduled automatically.
3. Build connections
About 1-2 days before the event you will receive an email with your detailed meeting schedule. You can also check your meeting agenda online or via the b2match app.
4. Do a strong pitch
SMEs will have 5 minutes Pitching + 2 minutes Q&A. If you take less time on the Pitching, you will have more time for the Q&A. In total, 7 minutes per SME are considered.
Please check the agenda for your pitching slot and make sure you do not book or accept 1:1 meetings for that time slot.
You will have the possibility not only to meet with high level managers of the attending Corporates but also to meet all the representatives of the other very innovative SMEs selected for this event. We had already very good examples of collaborations among SMEs that met at our Corporate Days. This is a networking event, do not miss any opportunity to extend your network, so please bring your business cards!
